James began his career as a Firearms Instructor in 2012 after obtaining his  "K" Firearms Instructor License through the state of Florida. Shortly after he founded "All American Firearms Academy" and began teaching Concealed Weapon Permit Courses and the Statewide Firearms License Course for security professionals. 

In 2013 he began his career in Law Enforcement and served for 10 Years in a high crime city. James has experience and holds certifications as an Advanced Gang Specialist, Hostage Negotiator, Detective, Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Adjunct High Liability Instructor, DefTec Less Lethal Instructor, Simunition Shoot House Instructor and is currently an IBJJF five time gold medalist, multiple time NewBreed Champion, Florida State Champion and Pan American Champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu where he is currently a Purple Belt.

I have seen first hand the lack of training and consistency in the Civilian and Law Enforcement sectors. I have made it my mission to deliver training that is far beyond the minimum standard. Training that is going to set you up for success in the real world. When I teach I use my real world training and experience to deliver the message.
